Society of Broadcast Engineers

Dear Fellow Broadcaster

I have been providing consulting and contract engineering services to FM & AM broadcast stations since 1980. In 1993 I moved to Wisconsin and began to serve broadcasters in the southwestern portion of our state. Since that time, I have regularly supported stations with routine maintenance, installation of new equipment, emergency repairs and consultation. (References available upon request.)

I have endeavored to stay current with the state-of-the-art developments in broadcasting by maintaining my membership in the Society of Broadcast Engineers. As a Senior Member of the SBE, I presently hold the Professional Broadcast Engineer and Certified Broadcast Networking Technologist certifications as well as the First Class FCC license.

The importance of preventative maintenance and calibration of transmitting equipment is summed up in this old adage that states; “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” This proverb holds true for broadcast equipment and facilities as well. I am available to perform routine calibration and maintenance of your equipment, which will help reduce technical difficulties, as well as off air emergencies.

My commitment to the stations I serve is to provide quality work, make practical and cost-effective recommendations to your broadcasting needs and provide support for emergencies as they arise.

I would be interested in discussing with you the possibility of working with your organization. Many of the stations I serve have benefited so greatly from my services that they have arranged a service contract or placed me on their payroll as a part time employee.
